In this issue, we examine the role Lowertown has played over the years in welcoming people new to Ottawa and Canada. From the beginning and up until the present, people coming from all over the world have made a home in our community. It is fitting that the Aga Kahn Foundation chose Lowertown to be the location for The Global Centre for Pluralism.
