The Lowertown Community Association has submitted a nomination for Polly Drouin as a hockey athlete to the Ottawa Sport Hall of Fame. LCA summer student Brendan Bowen researched Drouin for a heritage walking tour on North Dalhousie.
After a six-season, 160-game NHL career with the Montreal Canadiens, Drouin and his wife operated the La Salle Hotel on Dalhousie Street in the 1940s.
